Subject: New Daikin Inverter Ducted Systems - Extended Capacity Range
Daikin AC is pleased to announce the launch of the new Daikin Inverter Ducted systems. The new indoor unit
design, with its extended capacity range up to 42,000 Btu/h, increases design flexibility and offers a cost-effective
alternative to traditional high efficiency gas furnace/AC systems for residential applications. Systems offer energy
efficiency levels up to SEER 20.0 and HSPF 12.5 with up to 100% heating capacity at outdoor ambient
temperatures as low as 14
°F (select models), providing an energy efficient system at more affordable operating
costs than traditional heat pump systems.
The FTQ_PBVJU fan coil connects with the current RZQ condensing units with the exception of the 30,000
Btu/h model that will be matched with a new dual fan condensing unit with the model designation RZQ30PVJU9.
The unitary system capacity range will be extended to 42,000 Btu/h (previously 24,000 Btu/h) with the
FTQ18PBVJU and FTQ24PBVJU models replacing the current FTQ_PAVJU models once stock is depleted. The
larger FTQ30PBVJU, FTQ36PBVJU, and FTQ42PBVJU model have a sales availability of June 2012.
